A group of House lawmakers continues a bonding tour of infrastructure projects in parts of southwest and central Minnesota.

“We have received just a little bit over $5.5 billion in requests from throughout the state of Minnesota, and last year when we were in session, the Minnesota Management and Budget Office said the state of Minnesota could potentially have a bonding capacity of $3 billion.”

Representative Fue  Lee of Minneapolis says the goal is to prioritize projects statewide. Today there are planned stops in Worthington, Windom and Fairmont. The tour wraps up tomorrow with visits in Mankato, St. Peter and Burnsville.
