Ardent Mills in partnership with Twin Rivers Council for the Arts is excited to unveil five temporary public art installations at its location in Old Town Mankato. Local artists were invited to submit a design proposal for one of five window wells located at the base of the east facing wall of the historic mill. Five artists were chosen in early September through a selection process. The chosen designs focused on the spirit, history and culture of Greater Mankato.

Selected artists include, Amber Rahe, Holly Dodge, Josh Winkler, Geno Okok and Rachel Gemlo. Each artist received a $500 stipend to paint their design onto a plywood cutout provided by Ardent Mills. The artwork is temporarily installed in the window wells and will be on display until June 2020. After that date, the artwork will be auctioned off and funds will benefit future CityArt projects ( ).
