“We have evidence from cities who did this about 10 years ago and they’ve seen a marked decline in the uptake of smoking and vaping.”

Dr. Kottke says around 95-percent of adult cigarette smokers started before they were 21 and he cautions that nicotine interferes with brain development in youths–which can have an impact in adulthood.
