Local farmers who are struggling may not know there are resources available to help them. State Ag Commissioner Thom Petersen is spreading the word about Minnesota Farm Advocates…

“We have 10 of them around the state and they work with farmers for free and they can take your call and you’re having a hard time financially, emotionally and they can kind of steer you in the right direction.”

The Farm Advocate Program has been supported by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture since 1984. To find out more, visit the MDA website.
