The Minnesota Department of Human Services, higher education facilities and local providers are hosting information sessions for students interested in human services careers. Staff from a variety of local and state agencies that provide services to people with developmental disabilities, autism and related conditions and mental health disorders will be on hand to answer questions about:

  • Career paths
  • Internship opportunities
  • Current job opportunities
  • Educational and vocational experience.

These events are aligned with other state efforts to increase the workforce in critical human services areas.

One session will be held in St. Peter from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, Gustavus Adolphus College, Beck Academic Hall, Student Center Drive.
