NEW YORK (AP) – Former Minnesota Sen. Al Franken, who resigned in 2017 amid sexual misconduct charges, will return to the public sphere with a SiriusXM radio show that debuts Saturday. He’s perhaps the most prominent figure swept up in the #MeToo movement to attempt a public comeback. Franken tells The Associated Press he has no plans to return to politics, and also won’t discuss the allegations that led to his resignation. His first guest will be Chris Rock.
