In an age when countless passengers fly across the oceans every day, it is difficult for us to truly appreciate what a magnificent feat Charles “Lucky” Lindbergh accomplished in 1927 when he completed a non-stop trans-Atlantic flight.

Local historian Arn Kind will bring Lindbergh to life in his one-man presentation, “Lucky Lindy” Thursday, October 3 from 1-3 pm at the VINE Adult Community Center.

The presentation is made possible in part through a grant funded by an appropriation to the Minnesota Historical Society from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.  It is presented in partnership with the Blue Earth County Library.

The event is free and open to the public.
