Early September rain-fall is raising water levels across the state. National Weather Service Meteorologist Caleb Grunzke says that is especially true in Southern Minnesota.

“Near Redwood Falls there are two locations we have that in minor flood stage right now. South fork crow river has a couple of locations that are in flood stage or nearing flood stage. It’s just a delayed response to the last two weeks of rainfall.”

Grunzke says year to date precipitation statewide is in the top two all-time.
