President Trump’s recent criticism of flavored e-cigarettes is drawing praise from anti-smoking advocates.

“There’s a lot we still don’t know about these products and we know that they contain harmful chemicals and we just want to make sure that we’re preventing youth use of them so going forward we don’t have the kinds of problems we see with smoking-related death and disease down the road.”

Laura Smith with Minnesotans for a Smoke-Free Generation says the president’s plan to clear the market of such products is a step in the right direction toward addressing youth tobacco addiction.
