On Saturday, September 14, U.S. Sen. Tina Smith (D-Minn.) will meet with Winnebago Mayor, Jeremiah Schutt, community leaders, members and stakeholders, and Corn Plus board members about the recent announcement of the Corn Plus Ethanol Plant closure.

The plant has long served as an economic anchor in the city. They will discuss the impact the plant’s closure is having on the community and the resources that are available to those who are affected.
