The American Conservative Union Foundation will be honoring recipients of the highest scores on its 2019 scorecard at an award ceremony Wednesday at 8 pm with a reception to follow. The event will be held at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park.

Rep. Jeremy Munson (Republican-Lake Crystal) is being honored with scoring 93% on their scorecard, which qualifies him for their top award for “Conservative Excellence.” He holds an 87% lifetime average from ACUF.

Rep. Munson said, “I am proud to be recognized by a national organization like ACUF for my voting record. They give their top awards to people who fight for freedom, individual liberty, and smaller government. That is what I ran for the legislature to do.”

The Conservative Political Action Conference will be hosting an event earlier in the day, from 4-8 before the award ceremony to honor the heroism of 9/11 first responders and citizens around the country.

The NHRC is led by Rep. Steve Drazkowski (Republican-Mazeppa). It includes Rep. Cal Bahr (Republican-East Bethel), Rep. Tim Miller (Republican-Prinsburg), and Rep. Jeremy Munson (Republican-Lake Crystal).
