Mankato Public Safety recently performed alcohol compliance checks on 77 businesses that hold a liquor license. Seven of the businesses failed the compliance check where an individual under age 21 attempted to purchase alcohol.

Those businesses, according to the City are:  Red Lobster, LaBamba Taco House, 7 West Taphouse, Jake’s Stadium Pizza, Number 4, Sam’s Club and Joseph’s Liquor.

Alcohol compliance checks are done annually to help ensure compliance with laws. A failed compliance may result in criminal charges for the server and a strike for the license holder. All alcohol servers are required to complete training provided the Mankato Department of Public Safety.
