MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – A Minnesota prosecutor has charged an 83-year-old man who injured five men when he crashed his van into a Minneapolis bus shelter in July. George Reeves Jensen of Champlin is charged with five counts of criminal vehicular operation. The crash angered black activists who questioned whether it was intentional. Jensen is white and the injured men are black. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says the evidence doesn’t support more serious charges.
