“Good Boys” won the box office this past weekend with a $21 million take.  It’s the first original R-rated comedy in three years to be #1, and it’s only the second original movie of any kind to open at #1 this year.

The only other ORIGINAL movie to top the box office this year was the Jordan Peele horror movie “Us”.

5.  “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”, $10.1 million.  Up to $40.2 million in its 2nd week.

6.  NEW:  “47 Meters Down: Uncaged”, $9 million

7.  “Dora and the Lost City of Gold”, $8.5 million.  Up to $33.9 million in its 2nd week.

8.  “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, $7.6 million.  Up to $114.3 million in its 4th week
