The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is continuing to investigate the officer-involved shooting death of 23-year-old Isak Aden but says they will not release video footage of the incident or reveal any other details to the public until their investigation is complete. Yesterday, while calling for a release of all evidence in the case, Aden’s sister Sumaya called remembered her brother fondly.
“People were naturally drawn to him. I can whole-heartedly say that my brother truly embodied what it meant to be a kind and good person.”
In a statement, the BCA said they have met with the family and will give them the opportunity to view any video evidence prior to its release to the public.
