Warren, a town of about 1500 people in northwestern Minnesota has bragging rights to one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in the upper Midwest. A family run operation, Sky-Vu Drive-in, has a booming business and has just opened for another season. Tom Novak says the drive-in was started by his father decades ago and draws viewers from everywhere:

“And I tell you what we’ve had people from all over the world actually…especially lately when they are in the area one of their stops.. kind of their hit list is to go to the drive-in theater.”

Novak says SKY-Vu Drive-In has kept up with state-of-the-art motion picture technology, has first-run movies on its regular schedule and has become a family “go-to” spot for entertainment. SKY-Vu also has more than 14,000 Facebook followers.
