Following earlier action by the Minnesota House, the state Senate last night (Tues) said “yes” to making e-cigarettes subject to Minnesota’s Clean Indoor Air law. Vernon Center Republican Julie Rosen says not only are e-cigs harmful…
“What’s even more alarming is that you can smoke methamphetamine and marijuana in these e-cigarettes.”
But Breezy Point Republican Ruud says the bill hasn’t had a hearing, and she’s not sure it will keep kids from vaping:
“While it very well (may) be a good idea, I think it’s not ready for prime time.”
Others question whether “second-hand” vaping is harmful.
