As spring rolls on you may get more and more door knocks or phone calls about help with lawn care and clean up. While many of the businesses may be legitimate, Bess Ellenson with the Better Business Bureau says there are scammers out there looking to take advantage of the season by making a quick buck.

“We always recommend that people get everything that is supposed to be done in writing. So if something happens where you don’t get the work you want to be done, the work that they did falls through, you have a little more grounds to fight.”
