A 27-year-old Mankato man jailed and is facing three felony charges after an early Sunday morning disturbance at Red Rocks Bar in Mankato and police are still looking for a second man involved.

Mankato police said the victim had a large cut on his nose and another above his left eye when they arrived at the bar, and he told investigators that Obed Olok hit him in the face twice with a beer bottle.

The criminal complaint shows that prior to the altercation Olok and 26-year-old Medi Opiew were harassing the victim and his buddies for money to buy booze. The incident was captured on the bar’s surveillance video.

Several hours later a vehicle the men were seen getting into after leaving the bar was pulled over and officials said Olok was arrested. Preliminary charges include two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one charge of assault causing substantial bodily harm.
