VINE Faith in Action was notified by the Minnesota Department of Human Services that a long-standing grant was rejected due to an error on the submission form.
The grant was a steady funding source for VINE for the past decade and helped cover the cost of seven staff members
Now the nonprofit is launching a fundraising campaign to make up for the lost grant.
Executive Director Pam Determan says she knows the community will come through to help.
VINE hopes to raise $200,000 by the end of the year.
