The Boys and Girls Club of Mankato announces open registration for its after school program. With the hiring of DeAndre Adams as Lead Youth Development Professional, the Boys & Girls Club is making final preparations to open its doors for kids. Mr. Adams comes to the organization with experience in afterschool programs and a passion for serving the community.
Students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to enroll. The School Session will run October 29 – June 5 from 2:30 – 7:00pm. At this time the program will only be open on school days. In addition to homework help, students will have the opportunity to participate in art, drama, music, makerspace, games, physical activity and specialized clubs. Cost of the program is $75 per child per month with a $125 family max per month. For families eligible for free or reduced lunch the cost is $15 per child per month with a $20 family max per month.

A community open house will be held on October 24 from 5:00 – 6:00.
